  • Participants: 2 800 SEK
  • Leaders: 2 300 SEK

Participants

Scouts of all age groups are welcome at Jamboree26. The age groups Discoverers (10–12 years), Adventurers (12–15 years), and Challengers (15–18 years) will have tailored daily programs. For Trackers (8–10 years), there is no separate daily program, but they are welcome to join the Discoverer program if they can manage it and receive necessary support from the group’s leaders. If you want your Tracker scouts to join the Discoverer program, indicate this in your group registration. It is up to each group to decide whether their Tracker scouts can or should participate in the Discoverer program.

For Rover scouts (18-25 years) attending Jamboree26 as staff or leaders, there will also be a dedicated Rover program. This program will be designed so you can participate parallell to your main camp role. To serve as staff, you must be at least 18 years old by the day you arrive at camp.

Leader-staff - what does it mean?

As a Leader-Staff, you are both a leader and a staff member at the camp. You eat and live with your group at the jamboree, and the camp period is the same as for groups, July 25 – August 1. On-site, you work as camp staff within one of the camp’s functions, but your schedule is adapted to fit your groups mealtimes. The camp fee for leader-staff is 1 500 SEK

To be a Leader or Leader-Staff, you must be 18 years old by the day you arrive at the camp.

To attend as staff, you will need to present a valid Safe from Harm certificate and a criminal record extract before entering the camp site. More information will come at a later date.

Swedish twin scout group

To maximise the experience of your scout group at Jamboree26 we aim to pair you with a Swedish twin group, a so called Kompiskår. The purpose of the Swedish twin group is for them to be your support system when questions arise, you plan your trip, and on-site sharing of necessities such as tents or kitchen equipment which may be difficult to transport from abroad. We hope this new-for-us concept builds lasting bonds between groups from different countries and cultures. More information will come at a later date.

Practical information and language

As a participating group, you need to bring all the equipment required for living and cooking during the camp, especially tents. If you are later paired with a Swedish twin group you can discuss possibly sharing equipment with them. Jamboree26 can not lend you any equipment. A list of necessary equipment will be published in spring.

You can send equipment as freight directly to the camp site or transport it yourselves.

After group registration closes, we will we organize village assignments and inform you if your scout group will share a village with others.

Language: As a national camp, Jamboree26 will primarily be in Swedish, but practical information and instructions will be provided in English.

Travel to Jamboree26

Groups and staff plan their own travel to and from Jamboree26. We encourage everyone to travel as environmentally conscious as possible. This means using public transport like trains, buses, or carpool. If renting a bus is the best option for you, we encourage you to coordinate with other scout groups so you can fill every vehicle.

For those traveling by public transport, the nearest bus stop with Skånetrafiken is Norra Åsum Wendesgymnasiet, and the closest train station is Kristianstad C.
