Together Party

The Together Party

Everything your troops need to know for the biggest night of the year!

On 28 July, from 19:00–22:00, it’s time for the Tillsammansfest – an evening where the troops themselves create the celebration in the villages. It will be a colourful, playful and creative night where everyone contributes in their own way. The Tillsammansfest is all about community, co‑creation and joy – and about every unit, big or small, bringing their own piece of the party.

What is the Tillsammansfest all about?

The Tillsammansfest is an evening when units build their own activities, experiences and festive environments. The purpose is to create encounters between scouts from across the entire camp and offer a night filled with movement, laughter and creativity.

The theme is simply together – but troops are free to build on ideas like a carnival or a summer night festival.

Your contribution – the building blocks

To make things easy, troops can choose one or several of the party’s “building blocks”: Food, Drinks, Music, Dance, Performances, Costumes, Games, Decorations, and Capture the Memories.

You decide what you want to create – big or small, calm or full-on. Everything counts!

Examples of what you can contribute

  • Small tastings that can be eaten from a mug
  • A tea bar or refreshing drinks on tap
  • Games and competitions built from reused materials
  • A dance parade through the village
  • A face‑painting or accessory station
  • A photo corner or Polaroid camera
  • Music with live instruments or a DJ booth
  • Decorations that make your place magical

Planning within the scout group

To make sure everyone gets the chance to both create and participate, we recommend dividing the work into shifts. For example, you can have two groups who take turns staffing your station so that everyone has time to experience the party around them.

Guidelines and safety

To keep the evening safe, inclusive and sustainable, there are a few guidelines to follow.

Food & Drinks

  • All ingredients must be clearly listed in both Swedish and English.
  • Serving may not be done using single‑use plastic items.

Activities

  • Fire performances must be registered with the Safety Team in advance and follow specific safety requirements. They will be cancelled in case of a fire ban.
  • No sharp objects may be thrown.

Sustainability

  • Use reclaimed and second-hand materials whenever possible.
  • Avoid single-use products and materials that create unnecessary waste.
  • Have clear waste and recycling solutions at your activity.

Safety and responsibility

Safety hosts will be moving around the villages, and Listening Ears space will be open for anyone who needs a safe and calm place.

As always, leaders in each unit are responsible for their own scouts – making sure no one goes missing, is left alone, or behaves in a way that creates insecurity for others.
